Smicon creates its own subsidiary in France

The specialist in industrial biowaste recovery strengthens its presence on the French market and the proximity to its current customers with the creation of its French subsidiary based in Amiens in the department of the Somme.

Together with its already active French distributor AB-SOLU, a specialist in waste sorting and treatment equipment and facilities, Smicon France S.A.S. will continue to make inroads into the French market while developing the huge market potential and improving service to its existing customers.

AB-SOLU's Managing Director, Benjamin Caron:

The Smicon product range has been developed and manufactured at Smicon in Wanroij, the Netherlands, since 1980. With a motivated team of 50 employees, Smicon manufactures about 120 machines per year and, with 2000 machines delivered worldwide, can rely on a unique know-how and network.

Smicon equipment can be found in many different areas of bio-waste recycling. Depackaging systems, shredders, grinders for animal feed production, windshifters, cyclone separators as well as turnkey installations for the washing of waste bins are just some of the areas of expertise of the manufacturer Smicon.
